ಮನೋಜ್ ಅವರು ಇವತ್ತು ಗಳಿಸಿರುವ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ boroಬ್ಬರಿ ೧೫ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ರಂಗಭೂಮಿ ನಟನೆಯ ತಪಸ್ಸಿದೆ. ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು, ನಾಟಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲೀಮುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ನಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಸನುಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಇವತ್ತು ಇಡೀ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ “ಅವನದೇ ಸ್ಟೈಲ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಾವಿದ” (Avanade Style Ali Kalavida) ಎಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯ ಈ ಭದ್ರ ಬುನಾದಿಯೇ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಕಿರುತೆರೆಯ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋ ಆದ “ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಆಯ್ದ ಪ್ಯಾಟೇಗ್ ಬಂದ್” (Halli Ayda Pyateg Band) ಸೀಸನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ದಾರಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದ್ಭುತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಡಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರ ಮನ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
